8/19       Workplace Workout Sessions

Rec Sports brings a workout to your office!  This program works on improving movement patterns and re-energizing employees for a more productive afternoon of work.  The program will run for 8 weeks throughout the semester and meet once per week.  Registration will open on August 19th at services.recsports.wisc.edu/Course/Search.aspx

9/2         Rockin with Rec Sports

This event highlights what Rec Sports offers in all of their program areas, fitness, competitive sports, aquatics, and facilities.  There will be information and free trials.  It will be held on Monday, September 2nd near the SERF and the NAT. 

South East – 11am-1pm

Lakeshore – 2-4pm


9/2         Space Jam dusk

9/3         Free Group X Classes

All group fitness classes will be FREE September 3-15!  SERF and NAT offer over 100 classes per week varying from Zumba to yoga to group strength to aqua classes.  Check out the full schedule at recsports.wisc.edu


9/5         Rec Sports Expo

Thursday, September 5:  10am-2pm

Location to be announced.

Smaller scale of what will be at Rockin with Rec Sports.


9/6         Memorial Union Bash and Grand Re-opening of Hoofers 3pm-7pm

9/9         Free Specialty Fitness Classes

Specialty Fitness classes are registration based classes allowing a more private experience in a group setting.  Free trials for a Specialty Fitness programs will be offered September 9 – 13.  Check recsports.wisc.edu for specific offerings.  


9/16        Mindfulness for Personal and Academic Well-Being

                        From 4:30-6:00pm, come to Union South and learn for free about mindfulness:
                        the new paradigm for success!
