Environmental Wellness

Environmental wellness is closely related to our emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Some aspects of environmental wellness involve:

  • Living in harmony with the earth by understanding our personal impact
  • Taking responsibility for personal choices, seeking to preserve, protect and improve the world around us
  • Optimizing our personal environments through healthy relationships
  • Living, working and playing in positive surroundings that minimize our exposure to things that can cause hazard or harm -- people, substances, dangerous situations
  • Appreciating the many wonders of nature, taking part in recreation and enjoyment of natural resources
