We get that academics can be a huge stressor for you. If you are struggling in a class, or just need help with assignments, GUTS is a great tutoring service. Drop in hours are at both College Library and Steenbock Library. Another great peer-to-peer tutoring option is Peer Learning Associations which are weekly study groups lead by students who took the class in a previous semester. If you need help writing a paper, the Writing Center has got you covered.
If you think you need to talk to someone about how you are feeling, or what is making you stressed out, Let’s Talk is an amazing campus resource. UHS also has stress management tips and appointments, including videos on dealing with public speaking and test anxiety.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, the Dean of Students Office can consult with you about how to navigate this stress and connect you to the best campus resources for you. You can contact them to schedule an appointment, where you will be able to discuss your situation with a staff member.
So take a deep breath, give yourself a pep talk, and rock this semester like none before! You can do it, UWell believes in you.
The Employee Assistance Office provides assistance to faculty and staff, their family, and/or their partners to work through stressors such as life changes, chronic illness (both physical and mental), and work/life balance concerns. The services are free and confidential.
